Escape Room Safety
The players must be able to leave the room under any circumstances and without game master intervention.
For example: If the power goes out, the players, by themselves, should be able to open any doors needed to leave the room.
The room must not require actions that would be hazardous in other escape rooms.
For example: Do not require players to stick a paperclip in an electrical outlet as part of a puzzle.
Objects dropped from above must never strike a player.
For example: If a key drops from the ceiling, it must do so in a way in which the players will never be standing under the drop location.
Players may only be moved slowly or with their consent.
For example: Do not drop players through a trap door.
